As United Methodists, we have an obligation to bear a faithful Christian witness to Jesus Christ. Our vision is to strive through God’s grace for a Christlike world. Our mission is it make disciples of Jesus Christ for the transformation of the world.
Tennille United Methodist Ministries include
Feed My Sheep – provide meals and comfort for families when there is a lost of a loved one and support throughout the families journey of grief.
WACO Cancer Support – support group for those on a journey through cancer, survivors of cancer, and care-givers of family members with cancer.
Prayer Shawl Ministry – provides nurture and comfort for those experiencing any issues where they feel the need for prayer and the need to feel the closeness of being wrapped in God’s loving arms.
Bread of Life – serves many families/children with home cooked meals, milk and other needs each month.
Annual Live Nativity – presented on the church grounds during December in conjunction with the City of Tennille’s annual Christmas celebration. This event involves some adults, member grandchildren, neighborhood children and friends.
Bible Studies – Several Bible Studies each year having studied Luke and Ruth in 2015.
Radio – live broadcast of Sunday morning worship services on local WJFL radio station.
Media – Recorded videos and cds of worship services and other services made available via the TUMC website (www.tennilleumc.org) and on disks.
