It is good. I am looking forward to class beginning tomorrow. I will be able to write more in here I think after we have the lesson. I was reading chapter 1 again tonight to refresh my memory for tomorrow and Minerva's testimony is awesome.
Her grand parents were allowed in the US during WWII to work on farms. while working a young man came to tell the workers about Jesus and they started worship service underneath the trees. As Minerva sat at her grandmother's death bed her grandmother quoted scripture and Minerva got angry. Her grandmother turned to her and said she was ready to be with Jesus and spoke of the peace that passes all understanding...that started Minerva on her very own faith journey. Some live off the faith of their loved ones and the time comes when they have to start their own journey of faith.
this reminds me of Pete's blog My Turn in the Nursery. Read it! It speaks of each person's significance in the Kingdom of God.
Then there is the devotion Leona shared with us where a young boy and his father were going out to pass out pamplets that told the story of Jesus. It was raining that day and the father decided not to go...but the son determined said "but people go to hell on rainy days also". So he went by himself and passed out all but one and looked up and saw one house he had not been to before. He rang the door bell ... continuously until a little old lady answered and he shared Jesus' love with her and left. the next Sunday she came to his church and testified that he had saved her from suicide.
I could type up testimonies of the grace of God all night. We all need to remember that what we do...no matter how insignificant it may seem....matters in the Kingdom God.
